BATON ROUGE — National Signing Day is the final bow that college football coaches and their staffs can put on their recruiting classes.
Lane Kiffin and his assistants had less time than to most to piece together the LSU football signing class for 2026 as he was officially hired two days before the arrival of the early signing period in December.
But LSU has been able to land 15 high school players to this point and the hope is Kiffin and company add one more recruit into the fold on National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
Meet the 2026 LSU signing class here.
LSU football recruiting class 2026
Lamar Brown, Defensive lineman
High school/Hometown: University Lab/Baton Rouge
Height/Weight: 6-foot-4, 285 pounds
Rank: 5 stars, No. 2 in nation, No. 1 in Louisiana, No. 1 at position
Brown chose LSU over Texas A&M, Miami and Texas. Brown is the bell cow for Kiffin’s first class in Baton Rouge, holding on to him a big feather in his cap. Brown is supremely talented and has athleticism that will translate quickly to the college game.
Richard Anderson, Defensive lineman
High school/Hometown: Edna Karr High School/New Orleans
Height/Weight: 6-4, 340
Rank: 5 stars, No. 12 in nation, No. 2 in Louisiana, No. 1 at position
Anderson chose LSU over Texas, who made a late push, and other schools. At 6-4, 340, LSU covets the nose tackle’s size, but he’s got fluid enough hips and lower body to make offensive linemen work to stay in front. He has lots of power in his hands and can blow up plays with ease.
Corey Barber, Wide receiver
High school/Hometown: Clay-Chalkville High School/Pinson, Alabama
Height/Weight: 6-1, 180
Rank: 4 stars, No. 169 in nation, No. 8 in Alabama, No. 25 at position
Barber chose LSU over Ole Miss, where he was committed to play before Kiffin left to take the LSU job. The playmaker is one of the more polished prospects at their respective position in LSU’s 2026 class so far. Barber has versatility in his receiving game with ability to play both in the slot and on the perimeter as his functionality in changing speeds and directions on a dime is highly-coveted.
Deuce Geralds, Defensive lineman
High school/Hometown: Collins Hill High School/Suwanee, Georgia
Height/Weight: 6-2, 275
Rank: 4 stars, No. 54 in nation, No. 7 in Georgia, No. 6 at position
Geralds chose LSU over Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon and Michigan. Geralds’ recruiting rating has shot up since his commitment to LSU over the summer. Kiffin recruited him out of high school as he and other coaches appreciate his ability to be effective in both stopping the run and rushing the passer.
Brysten Martinez, Offensive lineman
High school/Hometown: East Ascension High School/Gonzalez, Louisiana
Height/Weight: 6-6, 300
Rank: 4 stars, No. 83 in nation, No. 4 in Louisiana, No. 10 at position
Martinez chose LSU over Alabama, Baylor and Texas. Martinez is one of the more versatile players in LSU’s recruiting class as he played offensive line and tight end in high school. That means great feet and athletic ability despite a large frame. Martinez will need some development but the tools are there.
Trenton Henderson, Edge rusher
High school/Hometown: Pine Forest High School/Pensacola, Florida
Height/Weight: 6-4, 225
Rank: 4 stars, No. 67 in nation, No. 7 in Florida, No. 8 at position
Henderson chose LSU over Florida, Auburn, Michigan and Texas. He plays at his best with his hand on the ground and comes firing off the ball around the edge to haunt quarterbacks. Henderson has the pursuit ability to track down runners in space and has some experience playing coverage.
Aiden Hall, Safety
High school/Hometown: Edna Karr High School/New Orleans
Height/Weight: 6-2, 195
Rank: 4 stars, No. 195 in nation, No. 6 in Louisiana, No. 18 at position
Hall chose LSU over Colorado, Miami and Auburn. Hall relishes tackling and is a great finisher in space, something LSU needs at the safety position. At 6-2, 195, Hall is already sturdy and has the physical traits to possibly play early in college.
Dezyrian Ellis, Cornerback
High school/Hometown: Franklin Parish High School/Winnsboro, Louisiana
Height/Weight: 6-2, 175
Rank: 4 stars, No. 433 in nation, No. 14 in Louisiana, No. 24 at position
Ellis chose LSU over West Virginia, Tulane and Houston. Ellis has a track and field background so his leaping skills come in handy playing corner. Another thing that sticks out is his athleticism, as he played quarterback some in high school. Ellis is talented enough to play on either side of the ball but LSU needs defensive backs, so that’s likely where he ends up.
Jabari Mack, Wide receiver
High school/Hometown: Destrahan High School/Destrahan, Louisiana
Height/Weight: 6-0, 200
Rank: 4 stars, No. 128 in nation, No. 5 in Louisiana, No. 17 at position
Mack chose LSU over Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and Baylor. Mack is stacked at 6-foot, 200, almost reminiscent of a Deebo Samuel-type player. He has good hands and has spent time playing both in the slot and out wide in high school. His ability to cut and create holes in tiny areas will translate well to the college game.
Havon Finney, Cornerback
High school/Hometown: Sierra Canyon High School/Chatsworth, California
Height/Weight: 6-2, 170
Rank: 4 stars, No. 93 in nation, No. 11 in California, No. 9 at position
After initially saying he was going to delay his signing, he backtracked and signed with LSU over Arizona, Auburn, BYU and California. Having reclassified, Finney is lightning quick and possesses ability to not only line up at corner in college but can help LSU in the return game as well. At 6-2, he has the prototypical length and range for a college cornerback.
JC Anderson, Tight end
High school/Hometown: Mt. Zion High School/Decatur, Illinois
Height/Weight: 6-6, 240
Rank: 4 stars, No. 230 in nation, No. 7 in Illinois, No. 11 at position
Anderson chose LSU over Ole Miss, Missouri, Minnesota and Nebraska. Anderson was committed to the Rebels when Kiffin was the coach there and only pledged to the Tigers on Tuesday. Kiffin has likes Anderson’s ability in both the passing game and run game as he can do it all at the tight end position.
Brayden Allen, Wide receiver
High school/Hometown: Lafayette Christian Academy/Lafayette, Louisiana
Height/Weight: 6-1, 170
Rank: 4 stars, No. 420 in nation, No. 13 in Louisiana, No. 60 at position
Allen is from Lafayette but LSU didn’t offer the 6-1, 175-pound playmaker until Nov. 15 during an unofficial visit to LSU. The night Kiffin arrived in Baton Rouge, Allen was seen inside the football ops building with the mix of new and current football staff, so relationships formed quickly.
Ryan Miret, Offensive lineman
High school/Hometown: Miami Southridge High School/Miami
Height/Weight: 6-4, 290
Rank: 3 stars, No. 858 in nation, No. 91 in Florida, No. 69 at position
Miret chose LSU over Ole Miss and Miami. The interior offensive lineman has a powerful punch and can lock up inside rushers thanks to a stout lower body. Miret needs some time to development his overall game before he’ll be an everyday contributor but Kiffin and his staff like the upside.
Isaiah Washington, Safety
High school/Hometown: Haynesville High School/Haynesville, Louisiana
Height/Weight: 6-2, 170
Rank: 4 stars, No. 324 in nation, No. 11 in Louisiana, No. 28 at position
Washington chose LSU over Arkansas, Tulane, Baylor and Louisiana Tech. Another LSU commit that has seen his stock rise on the recruiting trail since he committed. Washington is good in space and has good quarterback-reading skills. He’s decisive and can close on ballcarriers quickly.
Emari Peterson, Cornerback
High school/Hometown: Evans High School/Orlando, Florida
Height/Weight: 6-0, 185
Rank: 3 stars, N/A in nation, No. 119 in Florida, No. 100 at position
Peterson was once committed to West Virginia but decommitted right before the early signing period. Texas A&M and Georgia Tech were a couple of programs that tried to get in the mix for Peterson before and after his decommitment from the Mountaineers. But he wanted to be at LSU and once he was told that there was room for him in LSU’s 2026 signing class, he jumped at the chanced. He signed Jan. 13 and enrolled on Jan. 18.
