ESPN's "College GameDay" is heading to Big Ten country.
The college football pregame show will set up in Iowa City, Iowa, for No. 14 Iowa vs. No. 6 Ohio State on Saturday, Oct. 3, in Week 5 of the season.
The Hawkeyes defeated then-No. 18 Michigan in a wild finish, as quarterback Hank Brown threw a game-winning 16-yard touchdown pass as time expired in the 20-19 win. Iowa's offense has been good for its normal standards this season, as Brown has 700 passing yards with six total touchdowns while the team is averaging 6.5 yards per carry.
"GameDay" hasn't visited Iowa's campus since 2006, and it'll assuredly be a scene for the Hawkeyes.
Who will be the guest picker? Here's a few options as "College GameDay" visits Iowa:
Caitlin Clark
Caitlin Clark is the obvious choice, as she'd be one of the biggest stars to be on the show this year. The NCAA's all-time leading scorer for both men's and women's basketball, Clark took Iowa to new heights from 2020-24.
The three-time WNBA All-Star is currently in the playoffs with the Indiana Fever, who need three straight wins over the Las Vegas Aces to keep their season alive. If the schedule works out, it's hard to imagine Clark not appearing on the "College GameDay."
Seth Rollins
WWE wrestler Seth Rollins is another choice "GameDay" could make. The Davenport, Iowa, native has an obvious connection to Pat McAfee, a "College GameDay" analyst and WWE color commentator, and is an Iowa fan.
Rollins, whose real name is Colby Lopez, is also a huge Caitlin Clark fan, as he has been an outspoken supporter of the Iowa star dating back to her college career. One of the most famous WWE wrestlers would make sense for "GameDay," especially as ESPN airs WWE now.
Dallas Clark
One of Iowa's greatest-ever football players, tight end Dallas Clark has been the guest picker on "College GameDay" before. Clark appeared on the show in 2015 for Iowa-Michigan State in the Big Ten championship game, and would definitely be a fan favorite.
The 47-year-old former first-round pick was a unanimous All-American in 2002 at Iowa, also winning the Mackey Award as the nation's best tight end. Clark won the 2009 Super Bowl with the Indianapolis Colts as one of quarterback Peyton Manning's favorite targets.
Jason Momoa
Jason Momoa doesn't have any obvious connections to the Hawkeyes, but maybe he's an option for "GameDay." The famous actor has name recognition, and hails from Norwalk, Iowa.
Luka Garza
Luka Garza has carved out a solid NBA career after developing into a star at Iowa. The 6-foot-11 forward was the Big Ten's player of the year in back-to-back seasons from 2020-21, while also winning national player of the year as a senior.
Garza's No. 55 jersey is retired by the basketball program and could be a solid option for "GameDay."
