The winner of Ole Miss vs Miami will play either Indiana or Oregon in the national championship game on Jan. 19 (6:30 p.m. CT, ESPN) in Miami Gardens, Florida.

The Rebels are playing in their second game since coach Lane Kiffin left for LSU. Defensive coordinator Pete Golding was promoted to head coach and has led the Rebels to wins against Tulane and Georgia.

Who is The War and Treaty?

The War and Treaty is a husband-wife duo that’s performing the national anthem before the Fiesta Bowl. Their songs range between some genres, but are mainly country.

Michael Trotter Jr. is a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq and Germany but that’s not where the group’s name came from.

The duo had changed group names multiple times and landed on The War and Treaty after an argument about what to call themselves.

Some of The War and Treaty’s biggest songs are “Do You Hear What I Hear?” “The People’s House” with Bon Jovi and “Hey Driver” with Zach Bryan.

The most recent album was released in 2025 titled “Plus One”

The War and Treaty is from Michigan.
