Who won the Heisman Trophy in 2024? 

Colorado Buffaloes wide receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter was the winner of the Heisman Trophy in 2024. Hunter was the first Heisman winner and finalist from Colorado since Rashaan Salaam won in 1994, according to the Heisman Trust.

How many Heisman Trophy winners does Ohio State have?

Ohio State has produced six previous Heisman Trophy winners, for a total of seven individual wins thanks to running back Archie Griffin’s back-to-back awards in 1974 and 1975. Only USC has more Heisman winners with eight, but Ohio State, Oklahoma and Notre Dame each have seven, The Columbus Dispatch reports.

The most recent winner from Ohio State was Quarterback Troy Smith in 2006. Running back Eddie George, the current head coach at Bowling Green, won 11 years earlier in 1995.
