Qua Russaw is questionable for Alabama football as the Crimson Tide prepares for its final SEC home game of the season against Oklahoma.
“I would say we’re unsure at this point,” Alabama coach Kalen DeBoer said on the SEC teleconference Wednesday, Nov. 12. “Probably in that questionable range right now, at this minute. But he’s coming along nicely. … I would consider it at least on if not ahead of schedule from what we originally thought.”
Russaw has not played since Alabama’s win against Georgia where he suffered a broken foot injury that needed surgery.
In the lead up to the Crimson Tide’s win against LSU, Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack said Russaw would “be back sooner than later.” DeBoer added that Russaw was “maybe a bit ahead” of his recovery timeline, and that it’s “very promising the direction he’s been going.”
Russaw had four tackles and a sack in four 2025 games.
Alabama kicks off against Oklahoma at 2:30 p.m. CT Saturday, Nov. 15 on ABC.
