There's some weather developing this week that could have an effect on a big college football matchup this weekend: Georgia and Alabama are set to face off in Tuscaloosa on Saturday night, but there's Tropical Storm Isaias forming in the Gulf, and it could become a hurricane by the time it reaches the U.S. coast.
So will the game be played on Saturday? Will it be moved or postponed? Here's what we know as of Wednesday morning: Alabama Athletics released a statement that said they're "closely monitoring the weather forecast" and that "at this time, there are no plans to alter the contest."
ESPN's College GameDay is scheduled to be in Tuscaloosa that morning, and President Donald Trump is expected to attend the game. All of that could be wiped away if the hurricane is a factor. For now, it's on, but if that changes, we'll let you know if it's moved to a different venue or to a different date.

Where could Alabama and Georgia play if their game is moved due to the hurricane?
Good question. No word on that yet, and there's been some false social media talk about a move to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Again, we'll update you when we know more.
When was the last time a college football game got moved by the SEC?
Per CBS Sports, it was 2022 with South Carolina playing on Thursday instead of Saturday and Florida playing Sunday instead of Saturday.
