Will Donald Trump be College GameDay guest picker? ESPN declines comment

All eyes in the college football world will be on Knoxville for Week 4, with another epic SEC showdown on the schedule with the No. 1-ranked Texas Longhorns heading to Neyland Stadium for a showdown with the No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers. On Wednesday, we learned that President Donald Trump will be in attendance.
ESPN will also be on the scene for College GameDay, marking the second time this month that the Longhorns are featured on the premier college football pre-game show. College GameDay was previously in Austin ahead of Texas’ epic comeback win over Ohio State.
With College GameDay and Trump in town at the same town, fans immediately started questioning whether he will be making an appearance on ESPN during the pre-game festivities.

Whether it be for a segment a la the poorly received Ted Cruz-Save College Sports Act segment that was ruthlessly booed in Austin or as a celebrity guest picker, many wonder whether the president will make a cameo.
CBS Sports revealed that ESPN declined comment on whether Trump will make an appearance, so everything remains up in the air just a few days until showtime.
What we do know, however, is that each fan bases will be hoping to avoid the Trump curse, with his recent poor track record of publicly backing teams and players.
Kickoff between the top-ranked Longhorns and No. 14 Volunteers at Neyland Stadium is set for 12:00 p.m. ET on ABC. All of the information you need to catch Saturday afternoon’s SEC showdown can be seen below.
