A top linebacker in the class of 2027 officially has a visit set with the Wisconsin Badgers. Tate Wallace, a four-star recruit out of Iowa, confirmed his visit to Madison on April 9.
The Badgers' current class of 2027 includes commitments from four players, but only one of those is a four-star recruit. According to 247Sports, Wallace is the No. 2 player in Iowa and is a top 30 linebacker in his class. The 6-foot-2, 226-pound linebacker is fresh off an appearance in the Navy All-American Bowl.
Sadly for Wisconsin, Madison is far from the only campus he's visiting this spring. Wallace's graphic includes visits to Notre Dame, Purdue, Minnesota, Arizona, Kansas State, and Arizona State.

It's interesting that the Regina High Schooler doesn't have the Iowa Hawkeyes, his in-state team, listed. Knowing three of his seven upcoming visits are with Big Ten schools, one can only imagine the sort of attention he'll be getting throughout the rest of spring into his senior season.
