Officially, four-star linebacker Cale Britt is the Wisconsin Badgers first commitment in the class of 2028.
Just one day ago, Britt posted a graphic with a slew of teams that have expressed interest. Notable teams the Badgers were competing against included Notre Dame, Alabama, Michigan, and Miami, among many others.
As of Wednesday, July 15, the Bishop Moore high schooler officially pledged his commitment to the Wisconsin Badgers.
The Orlando, FL, native is set to play for head coach Luke Fickell, someone who has already assembled a monstrous class of 2027.
Now, his class of 2028 is off to a stellar start.
Britt stands 6-foot-3, 212 pounds, and announced his commitment on social media with a hilarious video.
Very Blessed to be in this position…. Can’t thank my family, coaches, teammates, trainers, and every school that believed in me enough…
With that being said I am committing to Wisconsin 🦡 #ONWISCONSIN 🖤❤️ pic.twitter.com/7Rzf9aWePo— Cale Britt (@Cale_britt6) July 15, 2026
The video featured his family as Britt was scolded by his mother for not having an outfit picked out. He tried on both an Oregon and Minnesota attire, but everyone in his family agreed he looked best in Wisconsin's red and white.
It may be over a year before Britt heads to Madison, but expectations are through the roof, and rightfully so, as 247Sports has him as the No. 21 linebacker and No. 305 overall player in the Class of 2028.
