MADISON – Wisconsin added two cornerbacks to its secondary on the first day of the early signing period.

On Day 2, Thursday, Dec. 4, the Badgers signed three-star safety Kah’ni Watts, a player formerly committed to Houston who checks in at 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds and attends Iowa Colony (Texas) High School.

The commitment raises the Badgers’ number of early committed recruits to 14. In signing with Wisconsin, Watts turned down a chance to play for the hometown Cougars, a program he had been committed to since June 21.

Watts ranks second on Iowa Colony with 73 tackles, 52 solo, with six tackles for a loss, a team-high four interceptions and one sack. Iowa Colony (12-1) plays in the quarterfinals of the Texas state playoffs Friday, Dec. 5.
