Grand Valley State sophomore defensive lineman Jibriel Conde announced his commitment to Wisconsin football on Saturday morning.
Conde, who suited up for Grand Valley State this past season, was regarded as On3/Rivals' No. 1 defensive lineman in the transfer portal. The 6-foot-5 defensive playmaker logged 30 tackles, 2.5 sacks, 6.5 tackles for loss, two pass deflections and one fumble recovery in 10 games as a sophomore.
Conde is the first transfer portal addition for the Badgers in the 2026 cycle. He joins a class ranked No. 67 in the nation featuring 13 commitments. The program's transfer portal rank, meanwhile, is now regarded as second in the nation, per 247Sports.
Despite not receiving much interest as a recruit, Conde was offered by Auburn, Syracuse, Michigan State, West Virginia and Wisconsin in the portal, per On3/Rivals. The Ypsilanti, Michigan, native ultimately chose Luke Fickell's program, and he will now look to bring the type of productivity he showcased at Grand Valley State to Madison.
