The Wisconsin Badgers are officially eight for eight when it comes to recruiting the top in-state talent.

After years of limited in-state commits, head coach Luke Fickell has put together one of Wisconsin’s best in-state recruiting classes in recent memory.

That continued on Friday, as four-star running back Kingston Allen took to social media to announce his commitment to the Badgers.

Allen, 247Sports No. 2 player in Wisconsin, currently plays for Notre Dame Academy.

Earlier in the week, Wisconsin landed a verbal commitment from both Hunter and Reece Mallinger. Now, the offensive linemen know exactly who they’ll be blocking for.

Wisconsin’s class of 2027 jumped to No. 14 in the nation when the Badgers added the Mallinger twins. Now, that ranking is going to skyrocket as Allen is one of the top running backs in the class.

These past few years haven’t gone Fickell’s way, but the program believes in him and his abilities to get Wisconsin back on track. Clearly, this in-state recruiting focus is step one, and it’s been a home run thus far.
