Wisconsin football secured a commitment from former TCU running back Nate Palmer on Thursday, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
Palmer becomes the latest offensive playmaker to choose the Badgers during the winter transfer portal window, joining quarterback Colton Joseph, quarterback Deuce Adams, running back Abu Sama III, tight end Jacob Harris, tight end Ryan Schwendeman, wide receiver Shamar Rigby and running back Bryan Jackson.
The 6-foot, 195-pound running back received interest from other programs prior to his commitment, including from Purdue, South Carolina, Oregon State and UCLA. He will join the Badgers with three years of eligibility remaining.
247Sports considers the running back a three-star transfer prospect and the No. 83-ranked player at his position in the portal. He becomes the third running back to commit to Wisconsin during the period, alongside Jackson and Sama.
