Wisconsin football sells out Week 1 vs. Notre Dame at Lambeau Field

The Wisconsin Badgers announced that their ticket allotment for Week 1 vs. Notre Dame at Lambeau Field has officially sold out.

Notre Dame is expected to be ranked as one of the top teams in the country come Sunday, September 6. Ticket demand was always going to be there, as it was when LSU played the Badgers in Green Bay, WI, on September 3, 2016.

Now, 10 years later, Wisconsin has sold out Lambeau Field once again. For those wishing to attend, they’ll have to pay an egregious amount on the secondary market.

The last time the Badgers took over Lambeau Field, they upset the No. 5 Tigers, 16-14, in front of 77,823 fans.

Here in 2026, it would be quite the statement victory for head coach Luke Fickell and his squad if they’re able to knock off Notre Dame, a team that once again has College Football Playoff and National Championship aspirations.
