Wisconsin football's winter transfer portal class continues to swell, now six days into the cycle.
The Badgers, who have accumulated numerous commitments since the portal opened on Jan. 2, landed a commitment from Louisville transfer quarterback Deuce Adams on Thursday. Adams becomes the second quarterback to choose Luke Fickell's program this winter, joining Old Dominion signal-caller Colton Joseph.
Following his decision, Adams becomes the latest offensive player to join Wisconsin this winter alongside others including Joseph, running back Abu Sama III, tight end Jacob Harris, tight end Ryan Schwendeman, wide receiver Shamar Rigby and running back Bryan Jackson.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound quarterback enters his first season in Madison with three years of eligibility remaining. During two seasons with the Cardinals, he appeared in seven games and tallied 15 completions for 112 passing yards. He also rushed 15 times for 34 yards.

As a transfer, 247Sports considered Adams a three-star recruit and the No. 80 quarterback in the portal. He figures to mix with Wisconsin's quarterback room behind Joseph for the 2026 slate.
The Badgers, following a year where Danny O'Neil, Hunter Simmons and Carter Smith played a majority of the program's snaps, are certainly in the market for a more versatile quarterback room. Joseph fits the bill, but Adams' development remains to be seen.
