Are things perfect for the Wisconsin Badgers right now? No, but its as close as it has been in a long time under head coach Luke Fickell.

The Badgers were able to shrug off their disappointing Week 1 loss to Notre Dame and have since rattled off three straight wins, most recently an exhilarating 24-20 comeback win over the US LBM's No. 14 Penn State Nittany Lions.

Earlier this week, when previewing the top-15 teams in the nation, college football analyst Greg McElroy placed the Badgers at 15th place.

“The Badgers are seventh in strength of record, they’ve played the sixth toughest schedule in college football, and they just won at Penn State," he said.

The Badgers were one of five Big Ten teams in the poll, including No. 14 Oregon, No. 12 Iowa, No. 8 Indiana, and No. 3 Ohio State.

While the momentum around the program is at a high right now, a win against Michigan State would let fans know this wasn’t a fluke.
