For the first time since 2021, the Wisconsin Badgers have a Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week.
Now, keep in mind, quarterback Colton Joseph earned co-Player of the Week honors alongside Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, but that's some incredible company to be with.
Smith is a true Heisman candidate, and he just smashed the Buckeyes program records in both receptions and receiving touchdowns.
In the end, Joseph's 268 total yards and four total touchdowns against Michigan State did enough to have him earn these honors alongside Smith who had a monstrous 206-yard week with a pair of touchdowns on 11 receptions.
Officially, Joseph is the Badgers' first quarterback to be named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week since Graham Mertz did so during his first start in 2020.
Mertz, who is currently on IR in the NFL, completed 20 of 21 passes for 248 yards with five touchdowns against Illinois on Oct. 23, 2020.
