Wisconsin transfer tight end Tucker Ashcraft signed with the USC Trojans, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.
Ashcraft entered the portal earlier this month after three seasons with the Badgers. The tight end won immediate playing time after joining the program in 2023, finishing his true freshman season with eight receptions for 86 yards and a touchdown. He continued with 12 receptions, 82 yards, and one touchdown as a sophomore in 2024, before tallying just two catches for 10 yards in four appearances in 2025. A preseason injury and the presence of veteran transfer Lance Mason factored into his decreased snap and target count.
Ashcraft is ranked as 247Sports’ No. 296 overall transfer prospect and the No. 21 tight end in the portal. He commits to a USC program that finished 2025 with a somewhat disappointing 9-4 record. That finish ensured that head coach Lincoln Riley is still looking for his first double-digit win season since 2022, his first season with the program.

Following Ashcraft’s transfer and Mason’s exit to the NFL draft, Wisconsin added two transfer tight ends: Ryan Schwendeman (Southern Illinois) and Jacob Harris (Bowling Green). The position should again play a major role in the team’s offensive success.
