The Wisconsin Badgers are taking on the No. 12 UCLA Bruins in Week 7, looking to beat another ranked opponent on the road.

Wisconsin has been off to a strong 4-1 start this season, most recently upsetting Penn State on the road and blowing out Michigan State at home. Their lone loss came against Notre Dame, currently the No. 2 team in the country.

After struggling against ranked opponents in the early years of the Luke Fickell era, which included a 0-10 stretch, the Badgers have beaten three of their last five ranked opponents and will look for their fourth in six games on Saturday when they face the unbeaten Bruins.

UCLA has been one of the most impressive teams in the country this season, as newly hired head coach Bob Chesney has been a resounding success after being a top candidate for vacancies this offseason. The Bruins are 5-0, and they’ve done so convincingly.

UCLA has beaten Cal by 21 on the road, San Diego State by 18, Purdue by 14, Maryland by 51, and most recently, Oregon by two on the road last weekend. Both teams ended up playing backup quarterbacks in that one, as Dylan Raiola got the start for the Ducks, while Ty Dieffenbach started for UCLA after an injury to Nico Iamaleava.

Dieffenbach is expected to start for the Bruins once again on Saturday, as Iamaleava is out indefinitely with a knee injury. Still, backed by the No. 2 defense in EPA allowed per play, UCLA is the favorite heading into the evening contest.
