#Woof: Huskies Land 3 Star California Linebacker
INGLEWOOD, CA – DECEMBER 13: Washington Huskies linebacker Xe'Ree Alexander (10) poses with the defensive MVP belt after the Bucked Up LA Bowl hosted by Gronk between the Boise State Broncos and the Washington Huskies on December 13, 2025, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA. 3 star linebacker Isaiah Leilua from Servite HS, CA committed to UW while on an unofficial visit this weekend. Leilua, who is rated as the 45th best linebacker in the country by 247sports, chose UW over offers from ASU, Oregon, Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Notre Dame, and UW. The Huskies were able to nab the talented linebacker after getting focusing a lot of energy on Leilua. Listed at 6’0”and around 220 pounds Leilua looks very similar to current Husky linebacker Jacob Manu. Last season he was limited to 6 games but he amassed 27 tackles, 7 TFL’s and a sack in the super competitive trinity league.

The Huskies now have 4 linebackers committed in the 2027 class and are likely done at the position for the 2027 class (though there is the possibility a couple of them grow into edges). Husky fans welcome Isaiah to Montlake.
