2027 NFL draft: How some top QB prospects did over the weekend

The first weekend of the NFL is coming, but we just had our first full day of college football on Saturday, with a few games on Sunday, too.

The Arizona Cardinals are expected to be interested in the top quarterbacks in the 2027 NFL draft, so keeping an eye on of the top prospects performances will be something we do.

How did some of the top prospects do on Saturday?

Dante Moore, Oregon

In a 34-27 win over Boise State, Moore went 28-for-37 passing for 378 yards and three touchdowns.

Arch Manning, Texas

Texas beat Texas State 59-7 on Saturday. Manning went 20-for-27 passing for 305 yards, four touchdowns and an interception.

Darian Mensah, Miami

Mensah had a monster game in a 45-6 win over Stanford. He went 27-for-30 passing for 401 yards and five touchdowns.

Julian Sayin, Ohio State

The Buckeyes beat Ball State 56-3. Sayin completed 21-of-25 passes for 320 yards and three scores. He also rushed for a touchdown.

Drew Mestemaker, Oklahoma State

It was not a good debut for Mestemaker. Tulsa beat Oklahoma State 24-10, and he went 29-for-49 for 241 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Sam Leavitt, LSU

LSU beat Clemson 51-10. Leavitt was 16-of-28 passing for 230 yards, one touchdown and an interception. He rushed for 113 yards and two touchdowns.

Jayden Maiava, USC

Maiava has played two games. USC beat San Jose State 42-26 and Fresno State 39-0. Through two weeks, Maiava is 48-for-54 passing for five touchdowns and no picks, and he has rushed for a touchdown.
