Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star offensive lineman Dominic Black named Tennessee in his top eight schools, along with Indiana, North Carolina, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Michigan State and North Carolina State, according to Greg Smith of On3.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect is from Tri-Village High School in New Madison, Ohio. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 18 offensive tackle in the class and No. 5 player in Ohio.

Tennessee offered Black a scholarship during a visit to a spring practice on April 7. Tennessee offensive line coach Glen Elarbee visited him at Tri-Village on April 27.

Syracuse was the first school to offer Black a scholarship on Aug. 25, 2025. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Maryland, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Arkansas, Colorado, Louisville, UCLA, Missouri, Stanford, Oklahoma State, Duke and Illinois.

Tennessee has seven commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman and defensive back Carter Jamison.
