2027 Ohio offensive tackle, Tennessee target announces commitment date

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star offensive tackle Dominic Black will announce his commitment between Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Indiana and Michigan State on June 10, he announced on Monday.

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect is from Tri-Village High School in New Madison, Ohio. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 18 offensive tackle in the class and No. 5 player in Ohio.

Tennessee offered Black a scholarship during a spring practice visit on April 7.

Syracuse was the first school to offer him a scholarship on Aug. 25, 2025. Other Power Four schools to offer Black scholarships include Maryland, West Virginia, Minnesota, Pittsburgh, Boston College, Arkansas, Colorado, Louisville, UCLA, Missouri, Stanford, Oklahoma State, North Carolina, Duke, Illinois and North Carolina State.

Tennessee has eight commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell.
