2027 Virginia offensive tackle commits to Tennessee football

2027 four-star offensive tackle Q’Mari Hudson committed to Tennessee over Virginia and Virginia Tech on Saturday.
The 6-foot-5, 300-pound prospect is from Western Branch High School in Chesapeake, Virginia. Rivals ranks him as the No. 33 offensive tackle in the class and No. 9 player in Virginia.
Tennessee offered Hudson a scholarship on March 30. He has visited Tennessee two times, most recently for an official visit on June 5. The 2027 prospect also has an unofficial visit scheduled to Tennessee on June 19.
Syracuse was the first school to offer Hudson a scholarship on Feb. 12, 2025. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Wake Forest, Old Dominion, Marshall, East Carolina, Liberty, North Carolina State, West Virginia, Maryland, Penn State, Appalachian State, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, North Carolina Central, James Madison and Wayne State.
Tennessee has 15 commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo, defensive lineman Kadin Fife, quarterback Derrick Baker, athlete Jaden Butler, wide receiver KeSean Bowman, defensive back Carter Jamison and defensive back Brandon Leavell, tight end Malik Howard, defensive lineman Christian Mays and cornerback Dylan Haley, linebacker Kenneth Simon II, kicker Ford Fehling, long snapper Sam McKeown and Hudson.
