2029 OT to visit Florida State this Saturday

Florida State is will have an abundance of visitors inside Doak Campbell Stadium on Saturday such as four-star athlete commit Za'Kari Johnson, 2028 four-star offensive tackle Omari Lawson, and 2028 four-star defensive lineman Zylen Little. On Friday, 2029 offensive tackle Jamil Thompson announced he will be in Tallahassee for the matchup against the Virginia Cavaliers.

"I will be at Florida State this weekend," Thompson said on social media.

The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder was on campus in June for a camp at FSU, and he's also attended camps with the Georgia Bulldogs and Ole Miss Rebels. He's taken game visits to see the Ohio State Buckeyes and Georgia as well.

Thompson isn't the only 2029 prospect on the offensive that will be at Florida State on Saturday. Joe Bunce out of Wakulla High School in Crawfordville, Florida, will also be there.

Getting commitments on the offensive line has been a struggle for FSU. They don't have any pledges in the 2027 and 2028 cycles at the moment.
