4-star DB recruit predicted to commit to UGA ahead of decision

The Georgia Bulldogs are hoping to finally add a commitment from a defensive back in the 2027 cycle. The Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart have no commitments at defensive back right now, but that could change soon.

Four-star safety recruit Adryan Cole, who has previously been predicted to commit to Georgia football, is ready to announce his commitment. Cole’s decision date is set for Saturday, July 18 at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Cole’s four finalists are the Ole Miss Rebels, LSU Tigers, Florida Gators and Georgia. He’ll announce his commitment on 247Sports.

Cole plays high school football and is a track athlete for Douglas County in Douglasville, Georgia. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety is the No. 166 recruit in the nation. Cole is the No. 12 safety in America and the No. 15 recruit in Georgia.

Cole checked out the University of Georgia for the Bulldogs’ annual scavenger hunt and took another visit to Georgia on June 12. Cole no longer has Ohio State, Auburn and Miami among his top schools.

Cole went on official visits with each of this top-four schools. Ole Miss got the final visit on June 19. The four-star is not the only talented defensive back considering Georgia. Four-star defensive back Seth Williams is also deciding between Georgia and Clemson over the next few week.
