The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football program is worth quite a lot — and it's not even the most valuable program in college football. It's not even in the top five.
Dr. Ryan Brewer, a faculty member at Indiana University Columbus, has put together a list of the top 131 college football programs, in terms of valuation, and Notre Dame comes in at number six.
The Notre Dame football program is valued at $1.4 billion, or $1,418,000,000 to be precise. That's with a 2025 adjusted revenue of $170,000,000.
Texas is the leader with a valuation that rounds up to $2.2 billion. Texas A&M is right behind at $1.6 billion, and Ohio State follows at $1.5 billion. Louisiana State is also at $1.5 billion, and Michigan rounds out the top five, at $1.4 billion — just ahead of Notre Dame. Michigan is at $1,463,000,000.
The rest of the top 10 is Georgia ($1.4B), Penn State ($1.4B), Alabama ($1.4B) and Nebraska ($1.2B).
