Tennessee football makes top 10 schools for No. 1 Utah prospect

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.
Four-star athlete Bode Sparrow named Tennessee in his top 10 schools, along with Utah, BYU, Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas, LSU, Arizona State and Michigan, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.
The 6-foot-2, 180-pound prospect plays safety and wide receiver at Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 3 athlete in the class and No. 1 player in Utah.
Tennessee offered Sparrow a scholarship on April 30, 2025. He visited Tennessee for the Vols’ football game against Arkansas on Oct. 12, 2025.
BYU was the first school to offer Sparrow a scholarship on Nov. 17, 2023. Other schools to offer him scholarships include California, Washington State, Oregon State, UCLA, Arizona, Washington, Colorado State, Oklahoma State, Illinois, Boise State, Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, Kansas State and Purdue.
Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
