Notre Dame announces its plans for the annual Blue & Gold Spring Game

Notre Dame football announced on Thursday when the conclusion of its spring practices will happen, with the annual Blue & Gold game.
The Irish will finish off its early portion of 2026 practices on April 25th, as the spring game will start at 1:00 p.m. CST. It will be broadcast on Peacock, which most likely won’t make some people happy.
Notre Dame will start off spring practices with extremely high expectations, as many believe that they will return to compete for a national championship in the College Football Playoff. The Blue & Gold game will be a preview of what we will see in the fall.
There are plenty of aspects to keep an eye out for including the defensive coaching changes, who takes full reign of the starting running back position, and which transfers and true freshman will take make immediate impacts.
It will be a very exciting contests, even though some of it won’t look like actual football.
