The Wisconsin Badgers are back in action for the first time this season, taking on the No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish this weekend at Lambeau Field.

Wisconsin and Notre Dame are looking like two very different teams heading into the season. The Badgers have brought in over 30 new transfers, including quarterback Colton Joseph, reshaping their entire roster. Notre Dame, on the other hand, brought in just seven transfers, as they’ll be relying on a ton of returning talent, including star quarterback C.J. Carr.

It’s been a tough couple of years for the Badgers, who have dealt with a lot of adversity under head coach Luke Fickell, but there’s been a ton of positive buzz from the program this offseason as the team looks to embrace the change in 2026.

As for Notre Dame, the Fighting Irish are on a mission this season after being left out of the College Football Playoff last year, and they return as one of the country’s best teams.

This one should be a revealing game for the Badgers, who are pretty significant underdogs against a top-five team. How can you watch Wisconsin’s Week 1 game?
