The Colorado Buffaloes have made another massive addition to their 2027 recruiting class. Four-star offensive tackle Li’Marcus Jones committed to them on Sunday, announcing the news on social media.

Jones is from Brentwood, Tennessee, and picked the Buffaloes over the Mississippi State Bulldogs and Purdue Boilermakers. He is the second commit they have landed this weekend after JUCO defensive lineman Malachi Brown committed on Saturday.

Colorado offered Jones a scholarship back in July of 2025 and got him to Boulder on May 15 for an official visit, which allowed them to surge ahead in his recruitment. He took an official visit to Purdue in April and was scheduled to take one to Mississippi State in June, something that is now in doubt.

He is ranked as the No. 332 overall player and No. 33 offensive tackle in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 13 player from Tennessee. He is the second offensive lineman that Deion Sanders and Co. have landed this cycle, joining three-star interior offensive lineman Kenny Fairley.

Jones is the seventh member of Colorado’s 2027 recruiting class, four of whom have committed to the Buffaloes in the past week. The group is ranked as the 41st best recruiting class in the country and the 6th best in the Big 12. Jones is one of three four-star prospects they have landed, joining quarterback Andre Adams and safety Gabe Jenkins, they signed just two four-star prospects last year.
