Four-star linebacker recruit Noah Glover has committed to the Miami Hurricanes, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. At 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, Glover had the Georgia Bulldogs listed as a top landing spot until the end of his recruitment. His commitment to Miami is the Hurricanes’ latest recruiting win over Georgia.
Glover will prove to be a disappointing loss for coach Kirby Smart and the rest of the Dawgs’ staff. The talented linebacker has an official visit scheduled to Georgia on June 5 despite committing to Miami, and the Dawgs are expected to continue making an attempt at flipping the talented linebacker from the Hurricanes to the Bulldogs.
Glover visited Miami this past weekend and announced his commitment to the Hurricanes following his trip, but Smart and the rest of the Dawgs’ coaching staff will look to make their mark on the rising star when he travels to Athens.
Glover is ranked as the No. 10 linebacker and the No. 154 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Rankings. He is listed as the No. 3 player out of Virginia, and Glover is entering his senior campaign at Battlefield High School later this fall. Glover’s commitment to Miami serves as a big loss for the Dawgs’ 2027 recruiting class considering the mutual interest and Georgia will now turn elsewhere following the disappointing news.
Georgia has landed some very important commitments throughout in late May and early June. Three-star defensive lineman Waylon Wooten recently committed to Georgia, while five-star defensive lineman Marcus Fakatou recently took an official visit to Athens this past weekend. Four-star linebacker Joakim Gouda, three-star wide receiver Taurean Rawlins, three-star offensive tackle DJ Dotson, and three-star edge Olayiwola Taiwo all committed to Georgia over the past couple of days.
