After hosting more recruits this weekend, Fran Brown and the Orange saw their 2027 class grow by one player.

Syracuse picked up two commitments- first Florida offensive lineman Nico Ramos announced his commitment.

The 6’6 Ramos is currently at American Heritage and he chose Syracuse over offers from Duke, Rutgers, West Virginia and Northwestern. Ramos is ranked as three-star recruit by 247 and Rivals. Here’s a look at his highlights

Later in the day, the Orange flipped a local recruit. as edge rusher Braylon Otis from Liverpool switched from Boston College to Syracuse. Otis is a three-star recruit who also had offers from Virginia, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt. He’s considered a top-ten recruit in New York and here’s some highlights from last season.

The Orange did lose a recruit this weekend as tight end Michael Nnabuife has flipped to Alabama. Syracuse’s class is now ranked 31st by 247 and 35th by Rivals. We’ll keep an eye out for more recruiting news this summer.
