It’s pretty safe to say that Notre Dame football’s recruiting weekend has been successful, even though it has yet to receive a commitment.

On Saturday afternoon, 247Sports Brian Dohn made a crystal ball prediction for the Irish to land 2027 defensive lineman Brayden Parks. The 6-foot, 3-inch and 305-pound Chicago native is currently on campus for his official visit, and it’s not often that you see these happening during a recruits trip.

If Dohn is correct, the Irish would be landing the nation’s No. 192 overall prospect in the class according to the 247Sports Composite. Notre Dame has done a great job with recruiting its neighboring state, as it already has a commitment from Illinois top overall prospect in David Folorunsho.

While more than a few of their top players highly considered the Irish, not all of them have ended up committing. However, those misses could all be put behind them if Parks lands in South Bend.
