College Football 27 features well over 100 Mascots to choose from in Mascot Mashup, but you need to unlock many of them before you can play with them in the mode. In this guide, we’ll show you how to unlock each mascot, and list the ones automatically available in the game. Without further ado, let’s dive right in.
How Do You Unlock All Mascots in College Football 27?
To unlock College Football 27 Mascots, you must either:
- Have purchased a MVP+ Subscription (Subscription Period is now Closed)
- Win a Play Now game with the team that the mascot represents.
Firstly, the easiest method to unlock Mascots in Mascot Mashup is to have purchased the EA Sports MVP+ Membership. This bundle gives you access to both College Football 27 and Madden 27 (launches in August), as well as a ton of other goodies. Secondly, the other method requires you to win a Play Now Game with the team that your mascot represents. For example, if you want to play as the Florida Gator, you must win a game with Florida in Play Now.
The easiest way to get around this is to just win games with very short quarter lengths. You can just play on an easy difficulty rack up a touchdown or two, and chew the clock for the rest of the game. However, this will still take a ton of time, as there are over 120 mascots in the game. You automatically unlock 10 at the start, including:
- James Madison (Duke Dog)
- Alabama (Big Al)
- Oklahoma (Boomer)
- Tulane (Riptide)
- Miami, FL (Sebastian the Ibis)
- Texas Tech (Raider Red)
- Indiana (Hoosier the Bison)
- Georgia (Uga)
- Oregon (The Duck)
- Ohio State (Brutus)
Unfortunately, this means you need to unlock 100+ mascots by playing a Play Now. This can be annoying, especially if you’re playing with a friend who likes a particular school. Therefore, do yourself a favor and try unlocking one or two every day. It splits the workload and makes the grind less insufferable. And if you don’t care about unlocking everyone, then this isn’t as big of a deal.
