We are 40 days until the return of Penn State football. The number 40 has some lore for Penn State linebackers, with the likes of Dan Connor, Glenn Carson, and Jesse Luketa wearing it since the turn of the century. Now, we have another linebacker wearing the 4-0: Keian Kaiser.

Kaiser is a true freshman from Nerbaska who was committed to Iowa State but followed Matt Campbell to Happy Valley. Kaiser has great size for the position, coming in at 6-foot-4, 215 pounds. Of course, he’ll have to add some weight to his lanky frame, but he’ll surely be at 230+ pounds like Caleb Bacon, Kooper Ebel, and Cael Brezina after a year or two at Penn State.
