What Tony Romo spokesperson said about CBS 'next steps' after latest OWI news

We've heard from CBS Sports president David Berson regarding Tony Romo's status with the network after the ex-Cowboys QB was placed on indefinite leave, as well as replacement (for now) J.J. Watt.

And while Romo himself hasn't said anything since the OWI arrest in July, we have now heard from his spokesperson with a statement to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel after three new citations: “Tony accepts full responsibility for his actions and has taken proactive steps to ensure that this isolated civil matter is properly resolved. We are working with local authorities to bring this matter to a close and we are communicating with CBS about next steps.”

Per USA TODAY Sports, court records show the following charges: "Unsafe passing on the right, possessing open intoxicants and operating a vehicle while intoxicated (OWI). All three charges were filed on Thursday, Aug. 27."

When will Tony Romo return to CBS?

No official word on that yet. He's on indefinite leave from the network.

When will Tony Romo be in court for after the OWI?

That would be on Sept. 21.
