Welcome back to another year of Clemson football. At this time last year I think we were all drinking the orange Kool Aid. Everything was in place for a return to what we’ve come to expect from Clemson football. Then we actually saw the football.

This year there is optimism! A new* OC! Actual transfers! What could go wrong?

As always plenty. This may be the biggest season for Dabo and Clemson since 2011. It may not be realistic to expect an ACC title and a playoff berth, though it shouldn’t be a shock if it happens, but looking like a real football team is important. The biggest disappointment last year was the lack of motivation, sound football, and desire that we saw. That has to change, if it doesn’t then what are we even doing here? But good news is we get to answer the eternal question of “What if the worst NFL team plays a college team?” Thanks to Lane Kiffin.
