Texas linebacker Rasheem Biles, who joined the program in the offseason after leaving Pittsburgh, was named an SEC Player of the Week following the Longhorns’ 59-7 blood-letting of Texas State in Week 1.

Biles recorded two solo tackles, three assists, one forced fumble, and one interception last week.
