Stanford men's basketball will be tipping off its exhibition schedule on Saturday, October 17 at Santa Clara, followed by another away matchup against Oregon on Sunday, October 25. From then on, the Cardinal will begin the regular season on Monday, November 2 at home against Eastern Washington.
Ten of Stanford's 14 non-conference games will be played at home this season, with another two of those being at a neutral site for the Acrisure Series. These non-conference matchups will loom large as Stanford looks to make the NCAA tournament in 2026-27 with a roster that has the pieces to make that dream a reality.
The Cardinal's ACC schedule will begin with one last game before the end of 2026, on the road against Notre Dame on Wednesday, December 30. Stanford will remain on the road to begin 2027 as well, facing off against Louisville.

Stanford will wrap up its regular season with three straight home games, which could prove to be pivotal matchups for the Cardinal if they're on bubble watch. Kyle Smith has guided Stanford to a .500 or better mark in each of the last two seasons in the ACC as one of just five teams to accomplish the feat, along with Duke, North Carolina, Louisville and Clemson.
Stanford was 9-9 in conference play in 2025-26.
