On the heels of their blockbuster 32-24 victory against Lane Kiffin and LSU, the No. 4 Rebels will look to build on to their already impressive resume when they hit the road to take on No. 22 Florida in a Week 4 matchup on Saturday, Sept. 26 at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Florida.
The win against the then-No. 7 Tigers last Saturday was Ole Miss' second in three games against a team currently ranked in the top 20 of the US LBM Coaches Poll, along with its season-opening 41-38 win over No. 19 Louisville in Nashville. While helping his team to a 3-0 start, quarterback Trinidad Chambliss has backed up the immense hype that greeted him heading into the season. Through three games, the Rebels' star has thrown for 924 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions, along with 64 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
This weekend, they'll get yet another stiff test. After largely languishing in four seasons under former coach Billy Napier, Florida appears to be on its way back to SEC contention under first-year head coach Jon Sumrall. The Gators are 3-0 for the first time since 2019, thanks at least in some part to running back Jadan Baugh, who has already racked up 458 rushing yards and an FBS-leading eight touchdowns while averaging an absurd 8.5 yards per carry. In a 44-39 win at Auburn last Saturday, he had a season-high 162 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
