Where Tennessee ranks in college football polls after loss to Texas

Tennessee football dropped four spots in the US LBM Coaches Poll after a 20-17 loss to Texas in Week 4 of the 2026 season.

The Vols are now ranked No. 17 in the coaches poll. The AP Top 25 will be released later on Sept. 27.

Tennessee (3-1, 0-1 SEC) plays Auburn (3-1, 1-1) on Oct. 3 (3:30 p.m. ET, ABC or ESPN) at Neyland Stadium.
