Coaches Poll Week 5: Of Course They Screwed This Up

A week after completely messing up the Texas A&M over Kentucky thing – after the Wildcats, whose only loss was to Alabama, rocked the Aggies in College Station – the latest Coaches Poll had yet another error.

Penn State is 22nd, and Wisconsin – whose only loss is to current No. 3 dominant force Notre Dame – isn’t ranked and 34th overall after its 24-20 win in Happy Valley. Here’s the rest of the latest Coaches Poll Top 25.

Coaches Poll Week 5 Quick Hits

• Six of the top 11 teams are the same, and Indiana and Miami swapped spots.
• The biggest winners were Florida moving into the top 25 ranking eighth, Iowa moving up three spots, and SMU getting back in at 19.
• The biggest losers were USC, dropping six spots to 18, Penn State, dropping eight spots, and Louisville, falling out of the rankings entirely.
