The College Football Playoff kicks off Friday night with first-round action in Norman, Oklahoma.

It's a rematch between SEC foes as Alabama travels to take on Oklahoma in the No. 8 vs. No. 9 game. A trip to the Rose Bowl to take on top-seeded, undefeated Indiana awaits the victor.

The game is set to kick off at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, and with it being the only playoff game on Friday, it will have ESPN's A team in the booth. Chris Fowler is calling the game while his fellow College GameDay host Kirk Herbstreit provides color commentary.

Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge will serve as sideline reporters for Friday's game.

In the first matchup between these two teams, the Sooners secured a 23-21 win by taking advantage of three Alabama turnovers and some high-leverage special teams plays. Now, coach Brent Venables' team is hosting the rematch as Kalen DeBoer coaches his first CFP game with the Crimson Tide.
