Wisconsin football extended an offer to class of 2026 wide receiver Samson Gash on Tuesday.
Gash has been committed to Big Ten rival Michigan State since June 24. Along with Wisconsin’s recent pursuit, the four-star wideout also recently visited Alabama.
247Sports currently ranks Gash as the No. 362 overall player in the class of 2025, the No. 54 wide receiver and the No. 5 recruit from Michigan. Notably, neither On3 nor Rivals is currently predicting the wideout to flip his commitment.
Wisconsin’s class of 2026 currently ranks No. 62 in the nation with 14 players committed. The group is looking for a boost after three-star linebacker Aden Reeder recently decommitted. Michigan State, on the other hand, boasts the nation’s No. 35-ranked class. Of the group’s 20 commitments, Gash is currently the highest-ranked.
Blessed to receive my 18th offer from Wisconsin!🦡⚪️🔴 @CoachReid_@CoachFick@jcessante@AllenTrieu@TheD_Zone@adamgorney@GregSmithRivals@SWiltfong_pic.twitter.com/8ZV9KjUyHc
