Former Wisconsin RB records second 100+ yard game this season at LSU

The Wisconsin Badgers lost 33 players in last season’s NCAA Transfer Portal.

One of them was three-star running back Dilin Jones, who departed the Badgers after 10 games over two seasons, in which he compiled 92 carries for 388 yards and 2 touchdowns. 

Jones was snapped up by the LSU Tigers three weeks after entering the portal and has since hit the ground running. 

Through just three games under Lane Kiffin, Jones has tallied 64 carries for 285 yards. He is averaging one touchdown per game and is up to 4.5 yards per attempt.

While Jones was limited to just 66 yards against Louisiana Tech last week, the former Badger made quite the impression against Kiffin's former team.

LSU may have lost to Ole Miss, 32-24, but Jones led all rushers with his 23 carries for 106 yards. Not only did he lead all rushers, but he had 43 more rushing yards than the Rebels' entire team.
