Auburn football will have several injuries to monitor ahead of Week 11’s trip to Nashville to face the No. 16 Vanderbilt Commodores.

Five players are listed as “out” for Auburn football’s game at Vanderbilt, according to the initial SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report released Wednesday, while four others are listed as “questionable.”

Safety Champ Anthony has joined center Connor Lew and wide receiver Horatio Fields as injured players who will miss the remainder of the season. Anthony injured his leg during Auburn’s Week 10 game vs. Kentucky and will reportedly miss the final three games of the regular season. Auburn will also be without true freshmen Sam Turner and Donovan Starr, who play wide receiver and cornerback, respectively. Turner has appeared in three games this season for 27 total snaps, while Starr has played in just one game, totalling six snaps.

Tight end Brandon Frazier, defensive tackle Jourdin Crawford, linebacker Elijah Melendez, and kicker Connor Gibbs are deemed “questionable” for Saturday’s game. Crawford was ruled out of last Saturday’s game vs. Kentucky for a leg injury, while Frazier continues to work through several injuries. According to Nathan King of Auburn Undercover, linebacker Elijah Melendez, who logged an interception in last week’s loss to Kentucky, did not dress for Tuesday’s practice after suffering a suspected head injury, and kicker Connor Gibbs is battling hip issues.

The SEC Student-Athlete Availability Report will update three more times before the Tigers kick off Week 11 at Vanderbilt. The game is set for Saturday at 3 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
