ACC Football Power Rankings after week 5

NCAAF College Football News, Photos, Stats, Scores, Schedule & Videos...

Pitt uses some field goal voodoo to stay undefeated.

Let’s get to this week’s ACC power rankings:

Miami
- Injuries in the secondary didn’t hurt against Clemson. Now the Canes get a week off before hosting Florida State
Pitt
- Not sure how Narduzzi pulled that one out but Pitt is now ranked…and their fans are simply waiting for the collapse to happen….apparently Syracuse fans aren’t the only pessimistic crew in the ACC
Wake Forest
- Again we ask why is the media afraid to #RankWake?
SMU
- Wasn’t pretty but they held on over BC…but now that Louisville loss looks even worse
Duke
- Should be 5-0 after next week….jinx? Us?
Virginia Tech
- Big Game James strikes again
North Carolina
- Made it respectable against Notre Dame, can they do the same at Pitt?
Florida State
- Shocking domination of Virginia. Are the Seminoles Saving Norvell?
Louisville
- Good news is that Jeff Brohm won’t be a hot SEC HC candidate this winter
Virginia
- Don’t win too many games when Ashton Daniels goes on a 30-0 run…where was the Pack Line defense when you need it?
NC State
- Credit to the Wolfpack for not cratering after that Vandy loss
Clemson
- The Tigers have scored 97 points in 5 games. Dabo needs some adjustments over the bye week
California
- Hopefully JKS is back soon.
Syracuse
- Do they deserve to be here? Does anyone else?
Boston College
- Played a close game at SMU
Stanford
- Flew all the way across the country to lose by 54. Their reward next week- a trip to South Bend
Georgia Tech
- Brent Key should at least try and dress Haynes King next week against Duke.
