The Alabama Crimson Tide have the nation's second-best scoring offense behind the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia and Alabama will meet on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET with the winner having an inside track to return to the SEC championship.

The country's only team that has put up more points than quarterback Keelon Russell and Alabama is Georgia. The Bulldogs are having an outstanding start to the season on offense thanks to efficient play from quarterback Gunner Stockton, strong offensive line play and good play calling from offensive coordinator Mike Bobo.

Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Womack went on to praise Bobo in his press conference this week.

"Mike Bobo is one of the best playcallers I've ever gone against," Womack said. Womack has gone head-to-head against Georgia three times since joining coach Kalen DeBoer in Tuscaloosa ahead of the 2024 college football season. Womack's defense has done alright against Georgia with the Crimson Tide allowing the Bulldogs to score an average of 27.7 points per game. Womack is 2-1 against Bobo.

Bobo is just 1-3 in his career against Alabama during the coach Kirby Smart era. Bobo's offenses have posted at least 21 points in every meeting with the Crimson Tide, but it has not been enough. Georgia's offense particularly struggled in the first half of the 2024 and 2025 regular season meetings with Alabama.
