Alabama says that it has "taken appropriate action" against a fan who as was seen pushing Georgia's Raylen Wilson in the helmet after the Bulldogs' win over the Crimson Tide in Week 6.
In a video posted to social media after the game, an irate Alabama fan makes contact with Wilson's helmet with his right hand and says, "Let's go boy, let's go boy, get the f*** out of here," as Wilson walks away from the stands and back toward the end zone.

"Alabama has identified and taken appropriate action against the individual involved in videos circulating on social media following Saturday night's football game," the athletic department told Al.com. "We take matters of this nature seriously and will not tolerate this behavior."
Georgia won the game 20-17 to move to No. 1 in the AP Top 25 following Texas' loss to Oklahoma earlier in the day. The Bulldogs clinched the game after a personal foul penalty on Alabama just before the two-minute warning allowed them to kneel out the clock. Earlier in the fourth quarter, officials also appeared to miss a blatant pass interference penalty on Georgia in the end zone.
After the game, ESPN shared a video to its social media channels of Alabama fans throwing objects onto the field as Georgia players went into the visiting team tunnel.

The win was Georgia's second straight over Alabama after the Tide beat the Bulldogs in September of 2025. Georgia won the rematch between the teams in the SEC championship game to earn a first-round bye into the College Football Playoff. Both teams lost in the quarterfinals as Alabama fell to Indiana in the Rose Bowl and Georgia lost to Ole Miss in the Sugar Bowl.
